USISTF was established in 1995, to fund and administer projects mandated by the U.S.-Israel Science and Technology Commission (USISTC), a bilateral entity jointly established by the United States Department of Commerce and the Israel Ministry of Industry, Trade, and Labor in 1994 to foster scientific, technological, and economic cooperation between the United States and Israel. The Foundation is an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that receives funding to implement USISTC programs from the Government of the United States and the Government of Israel.
The Network is made up of 600 local contact points employing a total of nearly 3 000 experienced staff spread around Europe. These are the contact points across Europe and beyond for business. Most partners in the Network are operated by consortia of qualified regional organizations such as chambers of commerce, regional development agencies and university technology centers.
Invest in Israel is the investment promotion center of Israel ’s Ministry of Industry, Trade and Labor. The center serves as a resource for investment related material about Israel for foreign based individuals and companies interested in direct investment and joint venture opportunities. Providing a variety of customized services and assistance - Invest in Israel works closely with both potential and current investors before, during and after the investment process.
The AUTM site is a wealth of information on technology transfer issues. Contains valuable links to tech transfer organizations, government resources, legislation issues, available technologies, and information on AUTM courses and events
The initiative of a multinational group of professionals to meet and share experiences on a regular basis resulted in the establishment of the non-profit Association of European Science & Technology Transfer Professionals. ASTP is practitioners and members focused and is growing rapidly; we have proudly welcomed more than 500 members, covering 35 countries.
