Veterinary Teaching Hospital

Objective/function

• With two sites - the campus of the Faculty of Agricultural, Food and Environmental Quality Sciences in Rehovot and the Veterinary Teaching Hospital in Bet Degan - the Koret School of Veterinary Medicine trains veterinarians and researchers in modern clinical and research modalities in variety of related specialties. It also provides continuing education and specialist training for veterinarians. It is the only veterinary school in Israel.

Research provided

• The Veterinary Teaching Hospital is a large modern facility that provides both emergency and specialized care including:
• Emergency room 24 hours a day, 7 days a weeks
• Clinics in the following specialties:
• Cardiology
• Dermatology
• Equine medicine and surgery
• Exotic animals and wild life care and management
• Food-production animal medicine and surgery
• Neurology
• Oncology
• Ophthalmology
• Small animal medicine and surgery
• Veterinary rehabilitation

• As a teaching and research center, the Koret School of Veterinary Medicine is staffed by dedicated, skilled clinicians who are facile with the latest techniques and research. It is also equipped with state-of-the-art technology.
