The Parasitology Laboratory is at the forefront of the battle against insects, mites and ticks, which can cause allergies, damage to the skin, and act as vectors of pathogenic micro-organisms. By combining a broad range of approaches, from those applicable by the community to advanced laboratory research, it is making major strides in the alleviation of the suffering and damage these diseases cause
